So far, so good for me, DST seems to be turned off for now........

I noticed alright that the TV3 text pages are still an hour ahead, but that does not worry me,

I also have a LE40C530. The Signal is from Mt Leinster. I didn't manually adjust anything...... (the only thing I have ever done with this TV is hack it to enable the allshare functionality over wifi)

But the time, epg, time on text are all correct.

Are you in a cross border area ? Are you receiving channels from more than one network ?????

Why would I do that. The EPG is right, the time is right and the text time is right. The only reason I posted was to show that the time is not wrong at the Mt Leinster TX. (I just haven't renamed the LCN)

The reason it is set to UK is so the MHEG5 engine is turned on! I dont use the internal menu that often in any event as I have a combined Saorview and multiple Satellites on one box.

I actually have it running as the next model up which enables the allshare function which means I can play stuff off my harddrive etc over wifi with a USB wifi stick (for anyone who is interested in doing this it works).

I take it from the lack of further replies, the issue is now resolved for all, it is for me at least.

As a postscript, here is the reply I got from Saorview today, to the question I sent them last week about this,.:

    Hi,

If the clock is an hour out you need to make a simple settings change to ensure your SAORVIEW set top box or SAORVIEW TV is using the correct clock reference.
Using the "Menu" button on your SAORVIEW box or TV's remote control, select "Setup". Then go to "Configuration", and select "Time Settings"
Ensure the clock (time) mode is set to "Auto"
The whereabouts of the "Clock" or "Time" mode menu varies with different makes and models of set top boxes and SAORVIEW television sets. Check the instruction book that came with your SAORVIEW box or SAORVIEW TV.
You also need to ensure that the "Country" setting in the "Installation" menu is set to Ireland.

    Best Wishes,

    Saorview

Have any of the posters above still have time offset incorrecly displayed still?

As I notice in the TS data info that Saorview is only having Ireland time correction while UK Freeview is having both, GBR and IRL time offset in the TOT info

    Saorview TOT Descriptors:

    Descriptor: Local Time Offset Descriptor
Country Code IRL Region Not used
Local Time Offset Polarity: 0 Local Time Offset 01:00
Time of change: 27/10/2013 01:00:00 Next Time Offset: 00:00

    Freeview TOT Descriptors:

    Descriptor: Local Time Offset Descriptor
Country Code GBR Region Not used
Local Time Offset Polarity: 0 Local Time Offset 01:00
Time of change: 27/10/2013 01:00:00 Next Time Offset: 00:00
Country Code IRL Region Not used
Local Time Offset Polarity: 0 Local Time Offset 01:00
Time of change: 27/10/2013 01:00:00 Next Time Offset: 00:00

It would make sense for Saorview to include both UK and Ireland
