He is not Christian although he tries to put on a one size fits all approach when confronted about his faith.

A few tell tail signs will tell us that he is not Christian.

....a nutty claim with zero basis in credible circles. He's not a muslim.

Obama has publicly mocked scripture on several occasions for political gain.

He also cancelled the tradition of National day of prayer at the White House. . He also renowned for covering up scripture and Christian related artefacts from schools and halls when he makes public appearances.

Sounds like any democrate to me. His speech that is critiqued in the video is a very toned down version of the one given in the West Wing, the character of President Bartlet was a devout catholic in the show yet gave a very similar speech. Just because his brand of Christianity is not the same as the maker of the video does not mean he is to be judged by him or you, I'm not a Christian but even I know that according to Christian teaching the Judge if President Obama will be God. And I disagree with the maker of the video Christ did say turn the other cheek even to terrorists and enemies of America.

In my experience I see more Christianity and Christian beliefs in non Christians everyday than in the whited sepulchres like the maker of that video who obviously is so thick he did not get or twisted the references, they claim to be Christian but teach war and hate.

BTW the second link to NBC does not work and did you even read the first one.

Did you read those articles in full? Because they really don't justify any of your rather silly claims....

I was listening to some news on the American Presidential election. What has struck me is the amount of refrence to God.

I would have thought, that the most powerful man in the World who gets to carry round a briefcase with the trigger to thousands of Nuclear weapons would be a little more agnostic.

The most powerful man in the world today is The Pope!

I always thought of Ireland as a pretty religious country, but it seems to pale in comparison to the States. The Christians there are much more open and upfront about being devout. It's a large part of their lives, so politicians have to pander to them.

John McCain was slow to talk about religion in the last election (I think I remember reading that he considered it a private issue), which I think is part of the reason that Palin was chosen as a running mate, as she was more open about it.

But that aside - Irish people were nearly confused when Katie Taylor kept thanking God during the Olympics, but I don't think that would seem as unusual coming from an American athlete. It's just how they are.

FFS - do you even read the links that you post here? First paragraph:
It turns out that the President did not cancel the actual day, but rather the ecumenical service, a tradition that only started under the previous administration.

Christianity began as a relationship with Jesus Christ. When it went to Greece it became a philosophy. When it went to Rome it became an organization. When it spread throughout Europe it became a culture. And when it came to America it became a business.

    You're also a birther. Correct?

I doubt Obama takes religion seriously.

For once something you posted that is both funny and correct.
