I'm taking the kids trick or treating then I'm off to a fancy dress house party.
I've the shell suit, blonde wig, jangly jewelry & big fat cigar sorted.
Am I good to go or have a crossed a line ?.

Not inappropriate, just unoriginal and tired.

crossed the line imo....l just think it would be very disrespectful for the victims, yeah their not going to see you but l wouldn't find it a laughing matter.

It's inappropriate that you own a shell suit.

just stay clear of the kids

    Why not?

People that get offended by costumes at Halloween are a little bit precious.

When MJ died nearly every other person was MJ, same as the Joker from Batman.

It all depends on what the " in " thing is at the time and there'll be a few Jimmy Saville cpstumes around tonight I'd imagine.

Are you bringing the kids to the party for that real authentic Saville look?!??!

Announcing that you're offended is just another way to tell people that you can't control your own emotions.

If you want to dress up as someone who likes to put their hand up young birds without offending anyone, just go as Rod Hull.

Go as Hitler, like any normal person.

I saw two at the weekend. It's an easy costume - shell suit, blond wig, fake gold chains and cigar.

A mate of mine got a box into the jaw for wearing a Jimmy Saville costume. Some overly sensitive buffoon took it upon himself to attack my friend for wearing a costume of a monster on Halloween.

Yeah, better to go as a lesser known sex offender, a paedophile's paedophile.

I heard off a mate of mine in the UK about a friend of hers, who went out at the weekend with the GF....

He was Jimmy Saville, the GF dressed as a schoolgirl...

Very iappropriate but so tasteless its funny

Roger said he would have stepped down from his Children in Need role if Savile had been involved.
He said: “A guy with a big cigar in his mouth, a string vest, who is covered in gold chains and trinkets — is this really the guy who we want to become a hero for kids?
“I had no evidence but I found that his behaviour was very strange.

    Good description for your costume.

Something about bonfires and if you are in Ballyfermot not to bother calling cops or fire brigade because the emergency services don't want to be stabbed :pac:
