Whats the twinair like? Trying to convince my mother to get on in the new year! Seems like it'd be great craic.

It is :) Got well acquainted with it driving from Bristol to fishguard then rosslare to dublin! Really comfortable on the motorway even in eco mode, of course out of eco mode is where the real fun is ;) The engine noise is sublime

Nice to find appreciation for it here I love it!

Thanks man. No, not Minilites. Superlites. Wanted watanabe's but they're too dear. Would have also liked Rota RKR, but cant afford them either, so these were a steal, and have a nice amount of dish for my LiL Boxy coupe

I'd say you did, as im in Lucan and its my daily driver. Insurance Co allow me 5000miles a year and ive only covered 2k in the last 7months. To hell with that "Weekend Car" crap. I like to enjoy it as much as i can.
Gonna have it on ITB's with some extra goodies real soon. 70's chin spoiler from Hakosuka is 1st on the to'do list...

No, ive been reduced from My R34Skyline (Cause the twins came along) to a 04Maxima (Which funnily enuf wasnt big enuf for all the babies crap) to a cheap a$$ people carrier (Mazda MPV[Huge bus]). Then bought a 02Micra so i could avail of the Vintage insurance.
You must have a policy on a car before you can have a classic too.
The Micra is also great because if i have the kids down in me ma's or wherever, she wont drive the Datsun (Thank god) so the Micra gets her around too...

    Why do you ask Jozi?

I'm in Tallaght so it'd make sense, not too far away.
I'd look great with the chin spoiler and then the sound with ITB's... :D

Pictures taken in 2005 by a previous owner of my car in the UK. 4 years before I bought her.

I came across those pictures by simply entering my last 7 VIN digits on Google :D and found these on a big BMW forum.

IT's very hard to believe that your 540 is a '98 car. It still looks great but I always said that the E39 is one of the best looking cars ever made.

She is not perfect but I do my best to keep her as clean as possible and in good working order.
She is a keeper anyway and I use her daily
