No 13 anywhere plates, it's 131 for the first half of the year, 132 for the second half

All that is going to do is increase plate snobbery for the year and hurt the resale value to some degree of the 131 ones aswell.

    aye.

bringing in 1.8t then you have the older cupra,tt,vrs, golf.

why did all vag cars go from 1.8t to 2.0t and yet not have any more bhp? do they have a good bit more torque and better mpg generally as the improvement?

I remember looking at buying a leon cupra about six years ago.

    Twas during the tiger :(

ST is 2.5 (2.6 on tax as 2522cc and MPS is 2.3) which should be a non issue but because of our plain bonkers tax system it is

Is there a KIA dealer in Naas now? I know there was Naas Kia which went out of business in extraordinary circumstances 4 years ago.

I'm nearly 100% sure the stand said Naas Kia, I'm only living here a short while so have no idea where the garage is as Kia don't really interest me tbh. I'm sorry now I didn't take a picture but it never crossed my mind, even if the reg looked funny.

Those are the Fiats aren't they?

What about an S14? 2.0 turbo as well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,295 ✭✭✭Supergurrier

You would want atleast an S15 surely and they are hard to live with

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,234 ✭✭✭Ardennes1944

ive actually been having distant thoughts of an s15. know absolutely nothing about them though. why are they hard to live with? half thinking a 180 too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,295 ✭✭✭Supergurrier

Interior in them is tiny and they are very low as standard, more of a weekend car

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,234 ✭✭✭Ardennes1944

Any idea what insurance on them or a 180 is like? Lowness wouldn't put me off. Definitely outsiders though.

Golf R is 2.0T as well.

My next car will either be an S3 or Golf R. 260-270BHP in a hatchback with 4WD is bonkers.

I have no idea what my next car will be, would love an Evo 9 as an RS is just never gonna happen :p

Have seen some nuts videos of tuned Golf R's doing 200mph

I could think of nicer ways to die.

    How about an N14 GTI-R?
The most powerful SR20 ever made and a mental AWD system. If you can get over the rear lights then it's a sweet car.
I'll also back the S chassis, not that I have a clue but anyone I've asked about them loves them. As said though, they are low and stiff as standard, a lot of them have been driven to death too.
I'd love an S13 but they're rarer than S15 Spec R's(SR20DET). Loads of tuning or SR's obviously.

Also, Corolla Runx(t-sport) and the 'Rocco R(I think?). I'm clueless with the VAG scene. :p

    What is it?

Can't see as I'm out of the country.

    Cars I'd like:

    Vintage jag
    Audi A5
    Brera
    Leon Cupra
