Looking for modern 1 bed apartment in Dublin with parking

Hi,

I'm a single professional male looking for a 1 bed (or 2 bed if price is okay) apartment, preferably with underground parking, in the city centre, OR north/north west of the city (not too far away from centre, maybe 8km max).

I'm finding it hard to find somewhere in a clean modern complex that isn't too expensive.

Also, access to a "free" gym would be a big incentive (some of the complexes offer this).

Any suggestions on areas/complexes? Or is anyone planning on moving out soon? I've looked on Daft many times, but not having much luck yet.

My budget is between 600-1200e a month. I'd prefer to keep it under 1k a month, but would stretch for the right place.

Saw a place in clongriffin for €950. Has underground parking. It's on Daft.ie at the moment.

Thanks for the suggestion...it's a little bit too north-easty for me though! But will keep it in mind

chapelizod near town, 10mins in car but ground floor which may not suit and i'd try and get something off rent on that basis

The house "off upper Dorset Street" looks nice, but you'd need to find out if the disc (for parking) comes included. Personally I don't like apartments and thus only picked houses, but each to their own.

If searching, do not select max bedroom, as you'll miss out a few places that may have a box room which would go over your max bedroom count, but not your budget.

Falcon View Apts are part of the crowne plaza hotel in Blanch, they overlook the centre, lots of ameneties etc, and hear they are fab & v. spacious inside. 2 beds are around the 1k mark.
