125 Scooter - Driving test

I'm on the lookout for a new scooter, preferably a 250. There are some second hand 125s available, they are more common.

If I got a 125 scooter and did my test on it, would I be restricted from getting a bigger scooter at a later date. Would I end uyp with a full A1 license, all be it for an automatic?

I have an A learner permit at the moment.

    Thanks for the help.

Yes. Even though you have a full 'A', the fact that you did your test on an automatic 125 then you'll restricted to such. Personally I'd rent a 250 manual for the test.

What about a manual Vespa, you should get a second hand 150 or 200 which should do the job for a A license
