I was never gone on these high energy drinks more so because of what they contain. Your average can of Monster contains six times the amount of caffeine than your average cola.

Monster Beverage has been sued by the family of a 14-year-old girl who died after she had just two cans of the energy drink.

The Food and Drug Administration announced today it was investigating reports of five deaths associated with the drink and one non-fatal heart attack, prompting the company's shares to fall 14 per cent.

Anais Fournier, died on December 23, 2011 from a heart attack brought on by 'caffeine toxicity' after drinking two 24-ounce Monster cans within 24 hours.

I believe it to be a sign that something terrible is going to happen on the 21st December next. I thought we got off lucky with the Olympics as i was sure they were going to use that event as an attempt to impose martial law in the UK, and that would have affected us here.

I've also noticed a marked increase in contrails over Dublin in the past few weeks. I believe this to be an Illuminati (in cahoots with the EU) plot to slowly drug us in the run-up to 21st December and make us more compliant.

I further believe that HAARP has been in complete overdrive the past 6 months due to the gigantic sunspots coming our way. The governments have switched HAARP on to counteract this. What is has led to is 2 giant earthquakes in Sumatra and a distinct possibility of a pole reversal.

When you add in the fact that turtles, fish, penguins etc have been washing up on our shores as a result of the recent covered-up giant explosions at the Fukushima plant and one can surmise that we are on the cusp of a giant ****storm.

I'm sure any snack or soft drink comes with warnings about consumption in moderation.

All these drinks have nutrional information printed on them so if you have pre-exisiting condition then drinking these will be dangerous.

Also if you have a heart condition, consuming drinks that could trigger a heart attack is silly, you know it could easily cause you problems.

Same goes for people with nut allergies, if something says " may contain nuts " you don't eat it.

My little cousin (8) was staying with us over the summer and she bought one of these cans and drank it. She was absolutely hyper for two days after it. They should definitely not be given to children and should be taken off the market I think. A can of redbull is one thing but these things are just a lawsuit waiting to happen, the size of the can and all.

Tbh I remember a few stories like this about Red Bull a good few years back which had me on edge about drinking it for a very very long time :rolleyes: I love Monster and drink it quite a bit really so this case could have been drug related or even drinking both cans down in one.

Energy drinks arent exactly the greatest thing for you, and as with most things like that if you overdo it it will probably harm you in some way, moderation is the key methinks!

yeah and deny all responsible people the right to consume them?
Maybe you should act like a responsible adult and monitor/control what children under your care consume.

People always looking for someone else to blame except themselves.
Drives me nuts, thankfully I am not allergic to them.

Energy drinks here are limited to what 32mg per 100ml caffeine?

Drink i came across in thailand was the size of a coke can with 150mg per 100ml! Potent **** that was. Made my scooter ride interesting to say the least.

Amazed no one has realised that "Unleash the Beast" was a symbolic part of a Freemason ceremony. When the blood of 3 virgins (local to the Order) cascades simultaneously down the black altar towards the end of the Freemason AGM, this causes an eerie glow to descend on the ceremony. This drink is a symbol of freemasonry and i'd bet if anyone does their homework they will find that the girl was a virgin.
