I can deal with the hours in school, i can deal with the hours of home work, i can deal with the massive amounts of study but what i CAN'T deal with is this burning pain in my back from being hunched over books, it feels like it's breaking :(

Would love to go bash about with Clontarf for a year but I'd be disowned by my team if I even went to watch. Feck sake.

The thing I miss most about school is textbooks. You had one textbook and if you knew that you knew everything that could come up on the exam. Now I've got hundreds of lecture slides, chapters of additional reading from several different books and countless research papers, and even knowing all that wont guarantee a first, you have to do extra research. I don't know why everyone said college would be easier than the leaving cert, school exam were a cake walk compared to this.

I spose it's a bit different for me since I'm doing a course to make toys for man-babies (:P), but I find studying for my exams and stuff far easier than the LC.

Even the modules I hate are easier than learning off Shakespeare quotes and reading Scothscealta (a.k.a. one of the most depressing books ever written). :)

Argh: Feeling more and more bleugh lately. Lack of direction and motivation, among other general social problems is making me very :( at the moment.
But at least my college work is going relatively well.

I legitimately thought ye were talking about Golfs, and was rather worried.

A quick Google tells me that's not what ye were referring to....

B*stards raised the price to €1.20.
A small rise, but no more ice cream sundaes for me from McDonalds.

We have serious trouble getting greyhound to collect are bins, usually we'll be left with full bins for ages and recycling pilling up in kitchen, so once the bin is collected there'll be a bin worth of stuff to put in it straight away. But last week I managed to get our recycling bin collected twice, by figuring out the road next to ours has a different collection day and leaving our bin on that road for collection, bringing it back filling it up, and getting it emptied again. So I was like yay, empty bin and no recycling in the kitchen, no worrying about that bin for two weeks.
Then our idiot neighbor who shares our bin went and did some extreme gardening and dumped it all in the recycling bin. So not only is the bin full, but its full of organic stuff that is not suppose to go in that bin! So. Much. Hate.

I've found the PERFECT apartment and will be going to view it tomorrow. Lovely area, ensuite single room, great rent - but I'll be sharing with three guys and my mam is freaking out. I genuinely don't care about living with guys, I don't get what the issue is if I've my own room and bathroom (she's convinced they'll eat my food, I'll keep it in my room if necessary, nbd) and it's proper student accommodation not some random apartment, but she BETTER NOT stop me moving out because of this. Like, yeah, I've agreed to go and see it before making any decisions, but I feel like even though she said the same she's made up her mind already that this can't happen and it frustrates me so much.

    /rant

    sorry!
I'll know by 5pm tomorrow anyways.

Funny thing is, if you were a guy moving in to a house with 3 girls, your mam wouldn't have an issue, and your Dad would probably be giving you high fives.

    Double standards FTW! :D

ARGH: You sir, can f*ck right off. You've shown up for 2 out of the five weeks we've been doing the show. C*nt.

Ugh, better to mess up today than during the actual Leaving Cert I suppose -_- ffs Chemistry, I thought we were tight. :( But I definitely learned an important lesson from it i.e. not to assume you know something and not study it. Oh titrations, so fun to do but so tedious to study...but yeah, I'll know for again to look over that pesky calculation. Oh god I am so bad at doing bad in tests. Ffs me, no getting a B in Chemistry does not mean you're not going to college next year. It means you made a number of mistakes that amounted to you losing a great deal of marks but you'll never make those mistakes again. And on we go...!
Ah lawd, actually giving the voice in your head a possessive pronoun and then referring to yourself and it as 'we' is rarely a good thing.

The fact that Green Day still haven't announced an Irish date is upsetting me. They'll probably announce one soon but still... Reallllyyyy tempted to go over to London to see them. :(

I seriously can't deal with people telling me I'm wrong. Even if they're actually right and are only trying to help seeing as they're the ones who know what they're on about more than me.

Seriously though why did I practically cry?? At least I had a cold to blame the runny nose and watery eyes on this time.

It was fine last year, but I just don't have time for the necessary research to back it this year. Also, topic is stupidly broad that it is impossible to reduce to a 3m30s speech.

This is ridiculous 3.34 in the morning can't sleep to save my life. And I plan to be up at 9 for work out training...... Ya that's really going to happen :(
