    This is an excellent page to 'Like' (see link below), as you will get daily turns of phrase from this very comprehensive dictionary in your newsfeed, which will enrich your store of Irish language phrases immensely.

    A few recent examples:

    Is fada ón muileann a leag tú an sac - You are wide of the mark.

    Tá mé ar bhreis eolais anois faoi - I know more about it now.

    Tá sé i gcumas a chéille - He is in full possession of his mental faculties.

    Rud a chur ar vóta - To put something to a vote.
