Interesting article but strange that we are not considered as Non-UK.

What I took is that Arsenal need to be wary of strikers with good international records !!! (Podolski hopefully breaks the mould)

    Player Country Caps Goals
Ju Young Park South Korea 60 25
    Nicklas Bendtner Denmark 54 21
    Marouane Chamakh Morocco 64 30

Those nations hardly have a huge pool of talented strikers to choose from though, so they'd be more likely to get caps. Also, in the case of Korea and Morocco many of their games would be against semi-pro minnow teams so goals would be easy to score. Podolski has a good record for a strong team with a lot of competition for places who play at the highest level.

Report on BBC R5 just now, average PL match ticket prices have gone up this season by 12%.

It was also mentioned that next season's TV deal is worth so much compared to previous seasons that they could CUT match tickets by £32 per game & STILL have the same amount left over for the clubs & FA as they have now!!! :(

They are just the greedy banksters of football

Many Arsenal fans & other clubs supporters are campaigning against high ticket prices & other issues that concern fans. Arsenal have the BSM Black Scarf Movement.

As mentioned in The Independent last weekend http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/news-and-comment/the-last-word-beware-football-as-a-brand-8210390.html

    More details on the BSM

    Up The Arsenal!!!! :D

So Gibbs and Kos out tomorrow.... How much of a sieve will Santos be tomorrow? Pod will have to be doing a lot of tracking back I would imagine.

Wilshere 80% match fit is fantastic news as well.

I heard he's still in a protective boot and at least 2 weeks from playing

Not sure tbh. It's soon though isn't it? He would want to be back seeing as Fabianski is out for three months now as well with his ankle. No cover is not good.

Guess at the team for Norwich?

    Mannone
    Jenkinson----Mert
    Vermaelen----Santos
    Arteta
    Coquelin
    Gervinho
    Cazorla
    Podolski
    Giroud

Giroud should get the nod up top imo. Plus I think he will as I don't think Wenger will want to play Oxo after him playing a day late which means Giroud will have to start up top. Unless of course he plays Rambo wide and Pod/Lightbulb up top but can't see him being that worried against Norwich.

Ramsey/Coquelin is a toss up in midfield for me.

I'd say you're more or less spot on Frisbee. I reckon Giroud is a shoe in since he scored mid-week and in the last league game too (not to mention an assist too). I could see Ramsey getting the nod ahead of Coq but I'm not sure, Norwich aren't a bad team to give Coq a full 90 minutes against.

Ox only played 15 mins vs Poland so I could see him starting instead of maybe Gervinho.

Wilshere in the squad for Norwich according to his agent.

We should but we're running out of fit strikers and need to buy another one.

    Hope he gets 15 mins

Only if we are well ahead though. We should not take unnecessary risks.

Wouldn't have him on tonight at all tbh though at least it's not Stoke I suppose.

tayto lover, how exactly are we out of fit strikers compared to a month ago? :pac:

Someone said Podolski was injured and not playing today. That on top of Walcott's injury would leave us short. Luckily Podolski is o.k. it seems.

Im feeling confident about having Mertesacker and Vermaelen in the backline for todays game.

Hopefully Giroud can get a goal or an assist

It's Norwich, I'd certainly hope we're ok at the back and that our striker can get a goal or assist. :pac:
