Are there any buildings on campus with 24 hour access? Even with a student card?

They don't really like people sleeping in any of the rooms so I would imagine they are always on the look out.

He/She might mean for studying, I'm not sure. In TCD they have a 24hour computer room where you can only get it with a student card

I wasn't saying the OP would be sleeping on the campus, I meant that security are always strict about these things. I think its also a problem of if something happens to you, they might not know you are there and thus couldn't help you.

24 hour access is against DCU's Rules and Regulations as far as I'm aware.

I think some postgrads or doctorate students may have swipe cards with 24 hour access. But that's only in special cases as far as I know!

The security may allow you stay in the building when they are about to lock the entrance doors. And u can use the fire emergency door to exit if u still wanna be outside at midnight.

This may be of some use. I had to attend a course with those slides to get my card authorised for out of hours.

Undergrads may be different as they aren't working with any potentially dangerous equipment.
