    Hi

I am installing a grohe concealed shower. There are 3 1/2" female connections for hot/cold and outlet. I have 317 copper elbows to fit the connections. My question is. Will ptfe suffice to seal this connection or is there a better connection? I am concerned that without a gasket the ptfe will fail over time!
    Tks

If you are concealing it , use boss white and hemp, you dont need a leak when you have your tiles on the wall.

Is the red boss white ok to use for a shower or should I use boss super green?

Boss white generally comes in a small white tub with a red top, putty coloured and stinks :)

red boss is fine for what your using it on.
The super green one is meant for drinking water/potable water.
To be honest i have never seen someone with the super green one, i dont even see it on the shelf in the local plumbing supplies place.
