I am really, really regretting not picking German. The main attraction to my course for most was the fact that it's the only way you can do 3 languages. I know one other person who didn't take up Spanish and German...literally. Everyone is either doing French or Italian, with those two from scratch. I'm such an idiot, I'm well able for it and I would have been able to avoid the pointless Spanish culture module. Ugh.

I would have minored in it but still...I didn't think there was any qualification in a third language option at the end anyway. I'm still learning it by myself but it's difficult to know how to pronounce things etc and I haven't got much time to do it with my extra modules. They take up more time than the Spanish language itself, which is completely backwards and one of the lecturers said that to me when I met up with him, but I just find languages so much easier than research and boring as fcuk, irrelevant information.

I just have to get through it.
I have no intention anymore of ever resuming French again.
Whatever it is about the language, I just despise it.
Though I appreciate the offer, I like to remove myself from the language as much as possible until I absolutely must speak it.

FML. My friends went to dublin last night to visit my other friends but i couldnt go coz i was on placement until late so just went out down here instead.

Just enrolled in an AI course in UC Berkeley... but it turns out that the course has already been running for three weeks, and the deadline for the first assignment was last week, and there're two more due this Sunday. Not sure whether to even bother now.

Rang up a few schools to see if they'd let me repeat, too late into the year. Guess I'm doing it externally. Not that it bothers me, just I'll be sitting at home studying everyday while my friends are all at college and stuff. And that's before I even find a job too. Sigh.

Happened to me before and I was told to wait for another fortnight and if it didn't come within that time they'd send out another. Ended up with two copies in the end.

My friend got spiked the other night and spent the night in hospital. He had left a bottle of whiskey at a session while he went home to get something and drank the rest when he came back. He didn't know many people there and didn't think anything of it, but he thinks that much have been when he got spiked. He's grand now but remember to watch your drinks, at sessions as well as when you're out, we all end up at sessions with people we don't know and you don't want to end up in hospital for the night or having someone you don't know take you home when you're in that state.
