Refrigerator Repairs Galway City

We're having problems with our fridge, stemming from a too-vigorous defrosting of the freezer with a metal scraper. I'm pretty sure from the smell that the gas has leaked out...

Does anyone have recommendations for a repair service that would come to our house? Is it even worth having it repaired? Can the gas be replaced?

    Any info appreciated.
    Thanks!

I'm a refrigeration engineer, not in Galway though. The fridge needs the leak repaired, pressure tested, vacuumed and finally regassed. The pressure test and vac alone will take 1.5-2hrs (if done right) in labour, never mind the price of the refrigerant and parts etc. It's worth trying to get a quote but it is probably cheaper to replace the unit.

I was afraid of that :(

We figured it might be too much to replace. I think we'll get a new one, and a PLASTIC scraper, and just be very very careful with it from now on...

    Thanks for the advice!
