    Correct but way out on the years! The FC was last produced in '64! Both were used as doners for these two beauties .....

    When Capri said "(75)" I think he was referring to the number on the reg plate which denotes it as being from Paris and not the year of manufacture. The restored one is registered in the suburbs of Paris btw (92) . ;)

    Two lovely restorations nonetheless.

    Mais non Monsieur w124 , Paris (75) referred to the Départment of Paris n.75 on the old FC, and the n.92 on the r/c FC is Hauts-de-Seine.
    Est-ce que vous comprenez?:cool::cool:

    Ace peak plates(which they seem to be) will set you back about €170 a set...

    There used to be a gold coloured Facel Vega in Donnybrook / Northumberland Road area in the late 60's and early 70's. I wonder if its still with us?

    Just spotted it yesterday lying in a yard in Old Kilmainham (Dublin 8).

    W124man- excuse my ignorance but what do you mean by a "good number"? Is it not just a standard ZV import number?

    Yeah, that's the one. I did post a photo before but it was a front view only. I think the car is later than 1912, probably 1920s ? I have been trying to trace it through Delage World but so far, no luck. No surprise really, it's over 90 years ago.

    That car is 1927. Its 21hp.

    Her engine number is 194, she was owned new by Ellen Egan in Sandymount.

    Saw this in the Aldi car park in Clane last week

    Owner said it was lying in a garage for years and its as it was found, apparently he had to knock down a wall to get it out. It was a little rusty, not bad for a Datsun. Japanese styling really was something else back then :eek:

    where's the reg from?

    ZN = Meath.
    Very similar car to Carcaeologist's (spelling?) Datsun.

    What is it? I can't make out the model. I don't think I've ever seen that type of Datsun (being an 80's kid), the Z's I saw growing up were usually dumped rusting in ditches.
