    I have this one...over a year now, it's grand.

    Format all the crap off it first thing if you get it. Wouldn't pass much remarks on reviews myself, they're all unreliable, this one is €80 cheaper than yours, buy two and back up your backups. Theirs cheaper ones but not in stock.

    Amazon best for customer service.

    Ah sorry dude, meant to include that I will be using it for travelling, so portability like the one in my OP is what I'm looking for. My bad.

    LaCie's rugged hard drive... It ain't cheap though, €250 yoyos for the 1 TB version. ;)

    BTW, the 2TB WD My Passport is a lot cheaper here.
