Can't download mms pictures on Samsung galaxy s3

    Please help,
    I have a Samsung galaxy s3. Got a message with a picture attached from someone I know. I can't see the picture only a box saying "download". When I click it, it now says "downloading" but the picture never turns up. Can anyone help please? Thanks
