Another MR2 in the family  I picked this one up yesterday for the princely sum of €200..the head gasket is gone on her due to waterpump failure.

As it stands my mate is seeing if he can get it going again otherwise I'm taking her for parts. :)

You thinking its too boy racer or that it looses some appeal?

Just looks like a giant retarded fish face.

Seriously, personally I wouldn't do any of the above, I don't think any of them improved the appearance of the car.

    Haha, excellent response.

I like the clean look and was on the fence with the grill idea and I wouldn't pay for the door debadge (colour coding would be better) and the plastic has scrapes on it.

What's wrong with new wheels? Mine are currently 15" hubcaps ;)

got them in halfords... 3.60 ish each ... i changed 4 of them .. can get in ebay for 10, 10 pack delivered, you mean that solid red one ? thats car security light, if i disconnect battery, than connect up, hazard lights keep flashing for 30 sec. every time i starting car, but eventually in 3-4 days, from solid it goes in to flashing mode, and hazards doesnt flash, but i assume, anyway, it is not right, as that red light shouldnt be on at all , while car working. didnt dig net deep for that problem.

That's for an alam I'd say.

You need to wallop the dash to get those lights to work.

    Should've mentioned that little foible

Jaykers, how long did that take?

450 to remove all ancillaries and manual box from donor car, do the same with the good car, put everything in good car and bypass the electrical things that the good car was confused by because it was wired to be auto. I think it's a brilliant price for te work done

They wouldn't do half that in a standard service either, i have had my old car serviced and they didn't even change the oil filter just topped up the oil.

this morning i discovered that somebody was in my car at some point from evening til morning ... well, i can blame only myself, as i "forgot" ... if you call that laziness .... lock the car... well central locking didn't work, so i left as is, when brought daughter from school ... rear left door and driver door left unlocked ... as i am living in quiet cul de sac, everyone know each other, never had any problems before.

So i discovered that rear left door, where kids seat is, not closed properly, and driver door was half way open ... thanks God, didnt rain, otherwise my car woul'd be like lil pool.

nothing is missing ... as i can recall nothing worth was in car ... glow compartment was open, and all rubbish all over seat.
I think that was kid, cos, i had there twix chocolate bar ... since i bought car, it was half eaten and left, radio with usb key still there ..

well... a good point is ... central lock started work ... mysteriously ... see how long. ... and cctv ip camera ordered ... as i suspect one of local kids/messers.

Neighbor said, that in somebodies car on our street was intruder also , so somebody keep goin around checking car doors.
