Ontario Drivers License for Irish people

Right, since i finally decided to get my arse in gear and get a drivers license over here (only took 2 1/2 years), I decided it might be helpful for other people to know the procedure. i assumed he was more asking if the overall high cost was a national thing or just a localised one. it's definitely a national thing. i could insure myself for 5 years in ireland for the price of a year here
