Its only a matter of time before one of these coked up cowboys opens up in busy street or shopping centre

then the sh1t will hit the fan we call ireland

Nah, only in Hollywood flicks. People who open fire in streets, malls, schools etc tend to have personality disorders or have been badly bullied. "Gangsters" tend to keep a low profile and try not to draw too much attention to themselves.

What I'm saying is if they deserve it then its no great loss and I wouldn't bat an eyelid if more of the same were to be taken out. Let's face it the gaurds/justice system is a joke so the only hope is they get taken out.
People get up on their high horse when someone is shot but I say **** them. It's understandable if it was an innocent but why the concern for these scumbags

Like I said with the last one. **** them. Hope they wipe each other out. And if I hear Shane geoghans name been mentioned once more ffs. Yes innocents sometimes get caught up in it and its terrible but so long as they got the right man who cares. Hopefully someone else will be taken out in retaliation for this and long may the cycle continue
And as for been shot in front of the children. Maybe it will be a painful but valuable lesson and they will choose a different career

Don't know about that Slunk, lot of these kids get wheeled out as insperation for young family gang members to get revenge and before they know it they start getting involved and reminded of deeds done on their behalf.

Because if this trend of gangland shooting in broad daylight continues more innocent people will inevitably be killed. Look at the bigger picture ffs, scumbags will never become extinct, always someone to replace the dead man.

All I'm saying is I've no sympathy for them. As I said the justice system doesn't seem to be working so I'm not to worried about this sort of justice been dished out. I don't think they would be so reckless as before concerning innocents after Shane geoghan and I don't think the gaurds would be looking too hard for these shooters, especially since the Guy the other day was a cop killer

Shot dead in front of his kids.

    That's just sick.

Just seen a quick bit of TV3'S coverage of the shooting, the area covered in young lads in hoodies laughing, skobies, you'd think a Hollywood star was in town not a shooting.

It wasn't in front of his kids, he was from a notorious crime family and his two brothers are convicted hitmen currently in jail.

great, lets have parents being shot in front of their children and screw up the children for the rest of their lives, ah shur they will probably be even more determined to join gangs and seek revenge but never mind, as long as you have people being shot to gloat over then life is wonderful.

In fairness with a killer and drug dealer for a father I don't think he would of had the best chance anyway. Maybe this would make the kids think twice.

well if their professional then they will, if their using him being a cop killer as an excuse not to investigate his murder then they should be severely punished for lack of professionalism.

And his father dealing in death is a good lesson. At least he might think twice now.

are you having a laugh, they see their parents being shot and they have other relatives in the gangs who remind them of what was done to them, they will more then lightly seek revenge then not. theirs no excuse for kids to see their parents being shot and those who do excuse it and condone it are as scum as these gangland people. end of

They need to have a mandatory 20year sentence without parole, for anyone caught with an unregistered firearm. The fact the weapon used in the south circular road murder was (apparently) abandoned in the getaway car, just shows how easy it is to get hold of a gun.

The Gardai know who these people are, they need to harass them 24/7 and purge them off our streets.
It worked with the Gilligan gang.

If this requires emergency legislation, then bring it in.

These men that were shot knew their lives were in danger and they should not have been around their kids knowing what was likely to happen.
It's terrible for the kids as they are the innocent victims here.

If they legalized drugs would all these killings keep happening

no, but neither is shooting someone in front of their children a good lesson.

And they are not doing too well for themsleves. Two in prison and one dead. Maybe these kids will look and think I don't want this for my life.

Knowing the way our government/civil service works a €10 spot would cost €17.22 + vat and you would need a tax clearance cert.

This sort of thing has been occurring regularly enough around Ballyfermot and North Clondalkin for the last decade or so,so it's not exactly a shock to the local residents anymore.

Yes, smokes are legal but there is still massive money to be made on the black market,

making drugs legal will only take the price down, on the black market (I think).
