I'd call my friend on the house phone who would say she will meet me at the bottom of my road in 15 mins.

I'd be there on time. I'd wait for 20 mins. Then walk another 15 mins to her house. Ring her bell.

Her Mam would say she's upstairs - go on up. I'd go up and say WTF.

She would say Sorry, I was watching ElDorado and lost track of time. I'd say OK - are you ready to go now!!!

She'd say yea. Then we'd go down town.

Wouldn't be too bothered personally. Watching the people who recently spent a fortune on the iPhone 5 being unable to use it and having breakdowns would be great craic though.

I could see the band at a gig instead of watching it through 30 shitty phone screens in front of me.

I saw the most amazing gig with DJ Amon Tobin projecting 3D images onto a mass of cubes, incredible lightshow. Clueless bint in front of me pulls out her phone and watches the screen instead. I told her violence would be done to that phone if she persisted.

What I'm seeing with some lads is they can't even spell the first 2-3 letters, due to some infantile Bebo style speil they picked up from thier hiphop culture so the fcuking spell check can't even make out what they're trying to say
