I'd imagine that they'll probably be feuding with every tag team that's available, probably you have a campaign with a heap of tag matches and ladder matches etc.? I dunno, The Rock N Sock Connection might be in that part of the story as well sure, perhaps.

I doubt they'll fued with anyone in story mode if it only goes as far as WM15

I haven't bought one of these for the past 3 years, I'm looking forward to giving it a shot this year though.

I'm hoping they'll maybe do somethin similar with next year's game and go from Backlash 99 up to maybe WM 17. That'd be unreal. I think maybe the success of this year's game will have a lot to do with the direction they go for next year's release

Actually seeing how they're pulling old Attitude videos from youtube because of Linda's senate push I can't imagine they would integrate the attitude era in another video game which is a shame but at least it makes this year's game that little bit more special!

You're in for a treat so, the game-play has advanced and moved on a lot over the past 3 years, it's a lot more competitive and fun to play, you should have a blast playing this years incarnation.

whats the gameplay meant to be like this year, same as last 2012?

im one of the people who've gone off it but thought it was playable last year i just miss the old season modes a lot!

the most annoying thing for me about the new games is that bar pin-system

The gameplay is supposed to be improved, insofar as, when jumping off the top rope, the wrestler will now "home in" on his target, like a magnet. This also works when there is a table near by, the wrestler will automatically try to put his opponent through a table. All around general improvements have been made, they call it Preditor 2.0 technology. I think the pinning system is here to stay though!

I think it's gotten way too finicky in recent years. That, and a lack of a worthwhile story mode, have taken the fun out of the games big time.

they seem to have lost lots of fans due to this.
simple gameplay and a good story mode was what was great about HCTP

THQ has confirmed that the new WWE ’13 video game will feature the return of "I Quit Matches" the debut a King of the Ring tournament. Here are some details on each feature:
    I Quit Matches:
    * The “I Quit” Match finally makes its long-awaited return! It has been approximately eight years since the match type has been featured in the franchise. The match type has been completely redesigned from top to bottom to provide players with the most authentic representation of the “I Quit” Match ever seen in video game form.
    * In keeping with WWE programming, the “I Quit” Match is a 1-on-1, no-holds-barred, anything goes affair. Utilize anything and everything within the in-ring environment to force your opponent to say the humiliating words, “I Quit!”
    * When your opponent is in a grounded state, press the B button (Xbox 360 controls)/pin button to summon the referee to the grounded opponent. The referee will kneel down next to the grounded opponent and place a microphone in front of the competitor’s face. It’s at this point that the “I Quit” mini-game is triggered. Stop the moving cursor within the designated target zone before the words “I Quit” fully materialize on screen to inform the referee of your desire to continue the match. If the opponent is unable to complete the mini-game in time, the opponent will automatically quit the match and be declared the loser. If a Superstar is in possession of a stored finisher icon, it can be used to automatically win the mini-game and continue the match. However, doing so will result in the loss of that finisher icon. This option should only be used when you’re at your most desperate.
    * When an opponent is in the midst of performing the “I Quit” mini-game, the attacking Superstar can utilize an Intimidation Taunt (by pressing one of the directional buttons on the d-pad) to increase the difficulty of the mini-game. Performing an Intimidation Taunt will cause the mini-game meter to shake, which in turn makes it that much harder for the defender to complete the mini-game in time. Use of Intimidation results in a loss of momentum for the attacker, so think twice before using it. If the attacker doesn’t have a sufficient amount of momentum within the meter, the Intimidation Taunt can’t be used.
    * The “I Quit” mini-game can also be triggered by applying a Breaking Point submission hold on an opponent. Just like in grounded situations, the referee will position himself near the trapped defender wherein he will position the microphone in front of the competitor’s face. Complete the mini-game successfully to break out of the submission hold and continue the match. Failure to break out in time will result in a loss.
    King of the Ring:
    * Create your very own King of the Ring tournament! Players are able to choose the number of participants (4, 8 or 16) as well as the gender of the participants involved (that’s right, Divas can also take part in the King of the Ring tournament).
    * Players can choose the type of match they’d like for their tournament (normal, backstage brawl, Hell in a Cell, WWE Iron Man, Ladder Match, Last Man Standing, Steel Cage, Submission, Table, TLC and Extreme Rules).
    * Participants in the tournament can be chosen by random or selected by the player.
    * Each match in the tournament can be simulated or played.
    * The King of The Ring tournament can be played solo or with a friend for multiplayer action.
    * A special coronation cut-scene is shown for the winner of the tournament.

Great news having the I quit and KOTR matches in, looking forward to having some 16 man tournaments!

I hope the KOTR tournament is integrated well into the universe mode. Like if someone who is in the quarter final gets mysteriously attacked on the way from the locker room. That kinda stuff.

Hmm, I hope so too. But then again, it's not the end of the world if it isn't put into it either. I'm playing WWE 12 now on PS3 if anyone fancies an online match for the laugh!!

Things in this video that annoys me:

    1. No my time theme.
    2. Triple H looks awful
    3. The crowd look more rigid than previous years
    4. Triple H looks like he's bloated

Oh and did i mention HHH looks horrendous?

That's DX era HHH, he didnt have My Time then. That song's in the game anyway though cos Steph has it. Just is edited at the start cos of the "Duuuumb Shhhhit!" bit. but you can always use a custom theme.

Agree the model tools crap though. I'll be using the custom threads to make the black and silver attire. wont help with his fat elf face though...

Looking forward to the attitude mode, but christ - can WWE stop with this revisionary version of DX. DX was not HHH and Shawn Michaels. In fact, Michaels had very little to do with DX outside of it's initial beginnings. For the majority of the time - it was HHH, Chyna, X Pac and the New Age Outlaws. That was DX at it's prime, and for it's longest incarnation.

They've been using this same entrance for years now. Lazy work. Druids.... Big deal. I can't remember the last time Taker had Druids in an entrance. Plus, he has only ever wore a hood since he cut his hair, not the hat he always had in WWE games.
