If Johnny Cash could duet with him then he was alright with me.

    Rest in peace.

    Most unpunnable singer ever. RIP.

Might as well sit here listening to music while the girls go by. On their way to the river, under the moon, it's nicknamed moon river. They're born free you see, they can do what they want.

Born Free was Matt Munro, and Moon River is a completley different song to music to watch girls by!

    Loungecore.

Luckily they didn't have electronics, back then so even the cheesiest of lothario popsters had actual musicality

But music to merely watch girls by is a major problem, in recent times and I can't help seeing this schmuck as a forefather.

    RIP, sleazy cheesemeister

He was a great crooner in his day.

(And if you have to wonder what a crooner is and/or have to look it up - your young!)

The following year, Monro sang the Oscar-winning title song for the film, Born Free, which became his signature tune.

RIP Andy, and I don't hold it against you that some of the most boring, tedious hours of my life were spent watching and listening to your show when I was little.
