Left or right? What's the nature of the injury? I presume you mean it's not going away any time soon?

    Ouchie!

Which fingers are injured? Is there any strength at all in those fingers? It would depend on which fingers but most bikes would only use the index and middle fingers for braking and the accelerator needs only minor inputs really...

It is the ring and little finger. No strength in them fingers at all. Even cycling it feels awkward holding the bar while cycling

I went out and sat on my bike just now. Unless the bike had really crap brakes, I think you'd be golden. Your grip of the accelerator will the the same as everyone else's: between your thumb and the palm of your hand.

I also have a scar right across the plam. I should try the test.

Does a teacher have a bike you can use for lessons or would you need your own

What's left of my bike after my off... I think it's fixable but won't know til my collarbone heals and I can start stripping and rebuilding.... :(

You can't really see it, but the rad was pushed right back into the headers and burst. To fix up I need: new nosecone, headlights, brake lever, right rearset, right fairing, clutch cable, new radiator/fan

Full kit mate, from that link you gave me. It's a 10 piece plus a windscreen (which I don't need) but no point putting a shiny new fairing and nosecone on it and leaving the rest. It'll be a full rebuild as it were, incl. new exhaust possibly.

Nice one, she's gonna look well!

Could you get the frame filled in and sanded / ground back down to remove the dents & scratches?

while on the subject of scuffed motors

    http://imgur.com/a/cFC9u#2sHm2

My old sv650s after a lowside in the back arse of Clifden (attempting the circuit of ireland iron butt challenge) and about 2 days before I sold it (for peanuts) in disgust.

Woulda been the third time I would have had to fix her up (cost me 3 months in a cast the first time with a broken wrist after a 70km kerb impact! second time was a lowside at Mondello..needed to replace the top yoke)

Still miss the sound the the twin

Can I ask what link for fairing kits?
