Is there a huge difference with the brakes since you replaced the calipers? Or was it more of a cosmetic change....

Miles better. Standard were decent but they are much more consistent and have better feel now - was a major difference on track to the last time without them. Standard stuff with a Brembo MC and race pads would do the job though in terms of stopping power

cheers - had it since new and think ill hold onto it for another few years. Its perfect for road/track litre bike fun. Have a KTM 950 for the more everyday stuff

Yeah it is one of the nicer colour scheme alright. There is a lovely yellow and black scheme aswell that looks savage, they have that colour scheme on an R1 in HEIN GERICKE in Newry.

Well they did have until the place went down the tubes....it was for sale also, I wonder if you get up to 50% off the bike also?

Couldn't leave the house as I was minding the little one today, so I gave the 9 a bit of a wipedown with a rag.

Can't read the number plate even if standing infront of it. Surely you would get done for that, especially with the tax disk covering it?

Haven't been as yet mate. I was stopped at a traffic corp checkpoint one night in Naas and the cop asked was the bike taxed, I pointed to the rear telling her it was on the plate. She looked at the disc, saw it was up to date and told me to go ahead.
