Super start to the season, I knew we'd be doing good this year when Podolski and Cazorla were both signed. I dont want to jinx anything but a trophy should be a realistic aim, whether that is the league, FA cup I dont care.

Loving the positivity with all the Gooners.

Not just on here but chatting to a few mates in the boozer and everybody is loving the look of the team.

Just might just be our year

Just ordered the home top with Cazorla and the champions league patch, hopefully its a sign. Then again my reyes shirt didn't work out so well, it killed reyes but we got to the final.

So bit early but team for next Sunday
I'm undecided bout giroud or gervinho up top
Think I'm leaning towards gervinho as terry is as slow was a wet week and hopefully Gervinhos pace will create a few openings

I would start ox on the right and then the big call, Ramsey in for diaby
Ramsey was class yesterday and I would like too see diaby rested a bit

Verm to come back but only cause he is captain with kos unlucky to miss out

So when are Arsenal going to own up to masterminding a "Space Jam" esque theft of talent from another team and inputting into their defence?

This Arsenal is unrecognisable and I want that leaky defence back before ye play us.

    Sort it out :pac:

    Ramsey was excellent yesterday.

Ramsey, Jack, Jenks, Gibbs and Ox will be mainstays in the side for ten years.

I'm most excited about Eisfeld, Gnarby and Ryo too.

Though I was excited about Jay Emmanuel Thomas too, and look how that worked out.........

Edit: Don't forget the Coq and Frimpers.

RvP scores goals for Arsenal. The press: "One Man Team!! Its all van Persie! He's carrying that team!"

RvP scores goals for United. The press: "..........................."

Just someting that has irritated me in the recent weeks. But its only nitpicking. Our team is looking tasty. Solid and creating chances. A little worrying that we have to create so many to score but once Giroud starts banging them in we'll be ok.

Think the coq will leave at the end of the season myself

I'd agree with that. I was on here during the Van Persie to United move and I was of the opinion that a lot of Arsenal's season depended on the settling of Podolski and Giroud.

Podolski seems to be taking to the league like a duck to water, Giroud less so. Though Gervinho may yet surprise us all.

Yeh i get the same impression myself unless he seriously breaks into the team this year i think hell be off, which I cant see him holding down a regualr starting elven and the vibes he gives off is that he wont be happy to bide his time.

You can't blame him either at his age and he will be very good
We're just so strong in midfield it's ridiculous

Delighted with that result yesterday, Citys home record has been unbelievable over the past 12 months so getting a point there is a big result.

Yeh its a great complaint to have that our midfield is so strong that even without Wilshere being fit I really find it hard to decide right now who id play in midfield especialy after Ramseys showing against City its a great problem to have :D.Then you also have Gnabry, Ryo and Eisfeld who really impressed in pre season all trying to push in on midfield aswell, exciting times ahead I feel.

I just hope he doesnt move to a EPL team and we have to face him and as sad as I would be to see him go I think it could be a good thing for Frimpong who because of his roots in the club Id really like to see succeed at Arsenal we need as many loyal players as we can get.

We are the first team to get points there in the league since February 2011.
    That's some achievement.:)

I could be wrong but did Sunderland not take a point off them there last season?

Ah the 3-3 yes you're right, still that's the only other team to manage it since February 2011.

    Not in the league.

Awesome. We weren't lucky either, our midfield stood up to them without too many problems at all.

This is a key point in the stuff buttonftw was saying yesterday regarding comparisons with last season. Take the Liverpool away win for example. Same result as last year but that was our luckiest game of last season tbh. We were hammered but kept it level and then RVP did his thing in the final few mins. This year we won well.

Now, while the end result of three points is the same, you can't go through the year jamming victories and winning games well generally implies that you'll win more of them by the end of the year.

He's not an Arsenal fan, constantly slagging off the team.
This year we can really get behind the team as they are playing and fighting for each other.

Still a great achievement. Was in Croke Park yesterday to see Mayo lose again and got back to the pub just in time for Kos equaliser...it was a badly needed tonic at the time! :)

Our midfield is looking so strong, we have the strongest in the league. Just goes to show Wenger was right to cash in on Song especially with Wilshere coming back. The best thing is there will be no pressure to rush him back, I dont think Id be able to take him having another set back.

Ah, we all approach fandom in our own way. Some get behind the team in a crisis but point out their flaws when all is apparently rosy.

I'm personally an ultra-positive. Not always realistic though.
