    Hi Folks..

Tipped a car in front of me today.
No damage to the other car or driver thankfully - thanks to their tow bar.
Fair bit of damage done to the front of mine though.

Anyway I have fully comp insurance with Axa and they are phoning me back tomorrow to check me in with one of their authorized repair centre.

Was thinking of going to the Ace Autobody (Axa Repair Centre) on the Longmile Road.

Has anybody had any experiences good or bad?

Or would you recommend anywhere else?

    Thanks

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Recommended Repair centres aren't necessarily recommended for their good workmanship or great customer care.
They are recommended by the ins. company because the ins. company has an agreement that saves them money with the said repair place.
Price the job around at a few recommended repair places before you jump with the one the Ins company wants you to go with.

Some twat hit one of my vans and axa had it fixed at their place on the Longmile - did a good job, like new. Good enough to deal with as well, just watch out for "hidden costs" etc..

A friend of mine got his car repaired there had to send it back twice before the job was done right, now they did take it back both times no hassle but it also shoulnt need to be taken back twice.

As has already been said the ones the insurance company suggests dont mean they are the best just means they have deals in place, pick one you like not the insurance company.

Stay well away from these. My car was stolen and stripped. They had my car for 6 weeks and was chasing it up every day for about 2 hours. They kept blaming VW for sending wrong looms. car eventually came back with wrong interior. I had leather interior came back with cloth and the door were a different colour. Did not accept car back in end. Was dealing directly with Md very arrogant nothing was there prob. Sent axa a list of all my details with them they paid me value of car and compensation within 30 mins. Stay as far away as you can from this crowd. Pm me for details. Was also told car was in long mile rd branch. Drove up from Limerick to see car and it was in Bray. Told final day part was in Germany and suddenly part arrived and car was delivered to me in Limerick.
