That's really good! I immediately regret having another 5 months left on my 18 month contract with o2!! :(

Looks like chris85 beat you to it.

Does look like a great offer though.

Im on that contract at the minute but for €15 a month. Was a thread on here a few months ago about it. Enquire and see if they can pass the further €5 discount on

Earlier this year they did €15 per (1st year) month SIM only online only, 30 day rolling contract with same conditions except 200 text limit & Free Meteor calls & texts.

From my experience of mobile providers, Meteor don't have great customer service. It 2 months to rectify account issues (overcharging) so be careful when you get your first bills.

They are calling around now offering 400/400 & 2gbs of data with free meteor to meteor calls and texts for €25 with a 12 month contract. Was previously on the €15 rolling contract pack but upgraded this morning. :)

So Meteor are offering unadvertised or retention deals that beat this. Their sister company eMobile have a €20 Prepay deal that also offers free Meteor calls and texts. It's just 250 mins, 250 texts and 250mb data but unlimited landlines.

There is also Tesco mobile sim only plans which are good cheaper if you don't use too much data- http://shop.tescomobile.ie/SIM-only-plans.aspx

I think the current Three sim only offer is better than any highlighted.

    350 flexi-units (1 flexi unit = 1 min call or 2 text messages).

Unlimited data (therefore unlimited whatsapp texts)

    free 3 - 3 calls

I guess (but am not sure) that the normal 3 roaming benefits apply, ie if you're abroad and on a 3 network, it's not counted as roaming or something like that!!

Plus there's a special 33% discount on the €20.33 price for the first three months.

Unfortunately €30.50 after the first 3 months.

    T&C's
*Subject to these terms and conditions, your monthly recurring charge for each of the first three months will be €20.33. This excludes any out of bundle usage.
The Offer will automatically expire three months after you sign up to the Offer.

*After the first three month period has elapsed, your monthly recurring charge will revert to the standard monthly recurring charge of €30.50, excluding out of bundle usage.

I don't recall ever seeing the €15 offer was 1 year only, does it revert to €30 a month after the year do you know?

The overcharging was a pain but emailing stuff@meteor.ie I found to have the fastest response time. It was great when my €50 deposit got refunded, it covered over 3 months of bills :)

Good spot, I was looking for the actual terms, but couldn't see that anywhere, even after a ctrl f search - then I noticed the drop down!!
I suppose you could sign up, as long as you remember to cancel with a month to go, but it's hardly worth the hassle - I'm looking for a decent SIM only deal, preferably with a decent data plan, but I'd like to stick to €20 or under.

Three Prepay has AYCE data for €20
48 Months has unlimited mobile calls and texts plus 3Gb data for €20

From memory it does. I can't find anything to verify & they never sent me a contract to sign.

From checking my account I be on Bill Pay Smart Lite EUR30 - 1 Month with a EUR15 monthly discount at present.

    48 Months - if only I qualified!!!

Might run with the meteor deal you posted as I don't think prepay would suit me - occasionally have to travel a bit, it might work out, but not sure if I want the uncertainty!

Three don't allow tethering though, which is a big selling point for Meteor for me. No idea about that 48 company though.

I've tethered using my three phone - not in the past 6 odd months, but I have done it. How can they stop it?

I'm guessing you've been with Three for a while then. Whole thread on it here

There is ways around the tethering problem. Both android and iphone both have apps to hide tethering. eg. pdaNet for iphone or foxfi for android.
