Got a call from a mate yesterday who wanted to back a greyhound running in Belle Vue yesterday.
He was in work and couldn't get into a shop and asked me to put it on for him.
Went online onto my account with one of the biggest UK bookies.
Dog opened up 7/2 and went out to 4/1, 3rd fav.
Tried to put £25 on at 4/1 but bet got refered to a trader!
Trader came back with "SP only!".
Declined and backed it on Betfair at 6/1.
Dog never moved off 4/1 and SP returned at 4/1.
What a joke of a company, if I was having £200 on it, Id say fair enough
    but £25?
Makes you wonder what sort of limits they are running.

Have a guess of the company?
    Coral!

    Did the dog win?
    YES

Betfair should've been your first port of call anyway. Well, for 25 Euro anyway, a few hundred maybe not. The bookies overrounds on bags racing are ridiculous to say the least

True but liquidity isn't always great on an afternoon Bags meeting.
Had a balance on the account, was trying to use it up.

OP in the last three months alone you have had a thread slating Betfred, Coral, Boyles and Ladbrokes, why do you use high street bookies at all if they are all crooks and scam artists as you claim??
