    You could probably brush up on it yourself. Who did the Saracens take it off in the first place?
    The area has been ruled by different dynasties for ever. Not just Islamic versus Christian, but different Caliphates in wars against each other, Jew & Arab fighting together against Christians, Turks, Persians, Greeks and a dozen more tribes and groups. Half the world have been through there with an army at some point or another.

    This nonsense about the crusades lends itself to the ridiculous notion of indigenous rights for any particular group of people.

    Ask yourself, where do you draw the line of indigenousness? 10 years ? 50 years? 100? 1,000?

    You are absolutely right there ..were is the line .. As a reply to his post I could have said Portugal and Spain but its much more complicated then that so i don't know what your problem is with me suggesting to him to read up on the crusades for example

    Heck even the Jews and Arabs fought together against the Franks in Jeruzalem

    Some are oddly enough, over 10% of the Israeli Parliament are Muslim or identify themselves as Arabs. There are even Muslim Generals in the IDF.
