Acer Aspire 5750G - Is it worth it?

Hey guys. My friend just found an Acer Aspire 5750G for around €550, including shipping from simplyacer.com (a UK company - the prices are in £). The specs are; i5, 8GB RAM, 500GB HDD. Has anyone this laptop? Is it a good one? Has anyone dealt with Simply Acer in the past? Any comments?
