Pretty happy with my team post-wildcard. Keep looking at it, looking for holes, looking for ways to improve but I think I'm settled. Any words of advice/wisdom would be appreciated though just in case I should make any last minute adjustments. I have 0.2 in the bank and this team:

    Jaaskelainen - Begovic

    Gibbs - Cuellar - Rafael - Clarke - Demel

Michu - Hazard - Sterling - Yaya - Ben Arfa

    Flethcher - RVP - Tevez

    Any suggestions welcome

    Very nice team.

Perhaps upgrade Figeuroa to a 5ish defender or Clyne to 4.5ish with your extra .6?

Hangelaand and Shawcross are reliable stalwarts of FF who can be got for 5, Steven Taylor or another Newcastle defender could be a shout as well.

Otherwise there are some interesting options at the 4.5 range who are more likely to get a goal or clean sheet than Clyne - perhpas Clarke at Villa for 4.4, Pearse at Reading for 4.5 are options

    Thats my team

The only thing concerning me is Kagawa but im sticking with him, hes more of a striker than any of the other midfielders and got more goals that any of them last year aswell

Im getting rid of the following in the next few game weeks

    Dea Gea > Jasskelainin
    Henderson > Begovic
    Clyne > McAuley or Ridgewell

    Dea Gea > Jasskelainin
    Henderson > Begovic

This is why I'm always reluctant to get a non playing goalkeeper. It more or less forces you to make 2 transfers if you want to downgrade.

Fair play if you stick to your plan but there'll almost certainly be a transfer you think is more pressing. It can become a really long-term irritant as a result.

Only if there are injuries will I change that transfer plan

    Forgot how to upload anyways-

    Szczesny
    Baines Hughes McCauley
    Hazard Pienar Cazorla Michu
    VP Tevez Fletch

    Sub: Jass, Demel, Sterling, Clyne
Yaya,Graham, Rangel where all there abouts, but decided on baines and Szczency. Szczesny to Beg and upgrading defence was option, but think Arse Defence is a must, would have loved Maloney for Sterling-

Feck it, I'm going to sleep on this:
    3eJ7r.png

Hopefully, I won't wake up in time to make changes. 0.8 in the bank for when an obvious replacement for Sterling or Guthrie appears.

I'm going with this. Taking a risk on Bertrand I know. If it goes tits up over the next few weeks I can swap him out for Hughes of Fulham down the line. Plus if Yaya stops his magic (which everyone is expecting him to!) I can swap him out for someone else like Ben Arfa.

need a lil bit of advice here..

    team currently is

    dea gea(not playing)
    green(not playing)

    lescott,clarke,jagielka, fabio(injured) barnett

    pienaar,hazard,kag,michu,britton

    rvp,tevez,prog

Do you think i need to w/c to get two goalkeepers who play and upgrade/downgrade fabio, lescott, britton and possibly get berba or fletch and carzola too

Currently sitting around 8,000th in the world with this team (value 103.5m). Wildcarded last week and was hoping to avoid having to make a transfer this week but BAE's mystery injury has forced my hand a bit. Can't have a 6.5m defender on the bench for four weeks.

    2hygi7r.jpg

I was planning on waiting to see how Berbs performed before getting him in, but he's really hit the ground running and is a steal at 7m.

    Pog and Assou-Ekotto OUT
    Berbs and (~4m defender) IN

I don't really want to take a 4 point hit so will probably wait until next week to bring Berbs in. I'm sure his price will have risen by another 0.1 but this doesn't bother me.

So I have about 4.3 to work with now for a defender, Demel seems the best option. I actually had him during my WC which is a bit annoying, and I'd prefer not to double up on West Ham defenders but they are on good form and he's likely to continue rising in value.

Demel was getting forward and whipping a few crosses in against Norwich too, he's a bargain at 4.1

I would wildcard yes, definitely. There's enough wrong with your team to justify it, and I'm always a fan of an earlyish wildcard when the first XI of teams have been established and the top players have been identified.

Remember you have another one in January.

EDIT: Looking at your team you probably need to change 6 players, and could improve 2 or 3 more (Jagielka for example who is a good player, the the likes of Gibbs and Rafael can be got for less).

I had far less wrong with my team when I wildcarded and I still think it was a good decision.

No brainer looking at your team imo

who is back up to Krul and Simpson @ Newcastle?

Harper in goal and Perch or Ryan Taylor would normally step in for Simpson, but Taylor is a long term injury and Perch is a doubt also.

    Likely line up is:
    Harper
    Anita-Williamson-S.Taylor-Santon

Apologies if the answer comes a bit too late.

I don't think it's 100% necessary. De Gea will come back in soon enough or you could downgrade with a solitary transfer and your defence as a whole is alright.

Britton is a problem especially as it means Pogrebnyak has to play more or less every week. Green is also a problem but not particularly urgent.

I think you could sort it out with a couple of transfers. Wildcard if you're really not happy with it and would like to make wholesale changes but I think you could get by without it.

Having said that I probably would press the button. Just giving you an alternative.

Need some opinions please. A combination of my stubbornness in not playing my WC earlier and price falls my team value is shot to pieces. I'm now considering using my WC.

    What I have:
    De Gea - Jussi
    Lescott - Walker - Harte - McCartney - S Kelly
    Hazard - Cazorla - Allen - Kacaniklic - Ireland
    Pog - RVP - Tevez

    What I'm looking at:
    Begovic - Jussi
    Lescott - Vidic - Clark - Chico - McCartney
    Hazard - Cazorla - Sterling - Kacaniklic - Dyer
    Berbatov - RVP - Tevez

    Any thoughts?

rafael and demel instead of vidic and mccarthy and upgrade one of your midfielders imo

    Cheers for the advice redzer.

I usually aim for a 3-4-3 which would leave me with a decision between Sterling/Kacaniklic each week. So if I downgrade Chico to a cheap defender (as well as your suggestions) I could afford the likes of Ben Arfa/Pienaar instead of Dyer.

    Get rid of Lescott.

    Get rid of Lescott.

+1 on this he's not representing value at the moment and isn't 100% guaranteed to start (they went with Kolo against Liverpool).

Also I'm not sure on McCartney. Joey O'Brien seems to have done alright since he came in and I wouldn't be 100% sure he'd come back in (though he probably will). But for .1 Demel will save you this potential headache.

Also as has been said, Rafael instead of Vidic.

Not sure if I'm mad on Chico either but that's a judgement call.

Rest of the team looks good

EDIT: Also, yes you should use your Wildcard imo. Better to fix things sooner than later

    gibbs,clarke,demel,clyne, barnett

    carzola,hazard,kag,michu,sterling

Solid first 11 9/10, but poor looking subs-need at least 13 playable players, so overall only a 6.5/10 as one injury and your screwed!

I would downgrade Vorm to Beg-
Then try upgrade 1/2 of bench-

Also, think you need at least a playable 3rd striker-(or bench player)
If you changed (vorm) Podolski and Le Fondre- could bring in Beg, Fletch and Berb?
Nelson and Gorkss can then be upgraded to 4m Def at least over time

Hi all, any opinions on this lot please? I want to do either Michu to Ben Arfa or Kagawa to Bale/Sigurdsson. Can't do both Ben Arfa & Bale without an 8 point hit so it looks like one or the other.

To drop Michu would be FF suicide IMO. Everything Swansea do involves him.

I can't understand why you'd drop a mid with four goals in four games either.

You're right of course, lost the run of myself there for a minute. Kagawa to Bale/Sigurdsson it is.

your defence needs a tweak or 2.

Clyne and Gunter are nothing players this year IMO. Reading are not going to be the defensive force they were in the Championship.

Clyne may get forward for a Saints side that likes to attack, but you just won't get the CS points this year with him.

Zabaleta is a no-go now IMO. if you want to get into City's defence, you'll have to spend on Kompany or Hart.

Looking at my defence again after the talk of getting rid of Lescott. I agree it's too much money for a non-guaranteed starter.

    My current defence is
    Lescott - Gallas - Demel - Rafael - Clarke
Option 1: Ship Lescott and get Baines (0.8 in the bank)
Option 2: Downgrade Lescott to a 5.5 defender and upgrade Pienaar to Yaya.

Forget about your midfield you need to look at changing Zabaleta and Gunter.
