Socks, knee length & patterned!

Winter is coming, and a commuter wants to stay warm. Anyone know where I could lay my hands on something like these?

The things that appeal are; wool/merino, knee-length (at least upto where 3/4 bibs would come to and preferably longer. The pattern looks insane now, but come deepest November a dash of colour would offset the gloom and monotony of hi-vis yellow nicely.

BTW, I think there should be a rule that hi-vis faded beyond a certain point should get banned from the road. That so-worn-its-more-a-white/lemon-yellow look is not good.

Lumen, normal wear is some sort of shorts, but in colder weather they need something to stop the draughts getting to Biffins Bridge. Hi-vis? if the traffic looks particularly vicious. Overall, it's important is to keep things matching.
Hope you don't wear one of those Altura faded wonders.

Forget about the euro rules this is a matter for the mods, sweet jebus delete the thread and issue bans....

I bought a pair similar to them from Tommy Hilfiger to wear with a funky short-skirt for a themed night-out. Try Tommy Hilfiger stores

People, commuter racing is something that causes me pain because each overtake is associated with yet another clothing aberration. Yesterday, heading home in low teen temp and rain and passed a guy in khaki above the knee shorts and a cotton t-shirt! I still shudder at the thought of that guy last year in GAA shorts in frosty weather.

kerry4sam, the PAULA CHECKED look good, but from what I can see the Hilfiger socks are in cotton.
