Best Physics, Biology and Chemistry Books?

Hey guys, What are the best Physics, Biology and Chemistry books out there? I'm taking up Biology as an extra subject. Hey guys,

What are the best Physics, Biology and Chemistry books out there?

I'm taking up Biology as an extra subject. We don't even use our Physics and Chemistry books in school because the teachers think they're so awful. We have "Investigating Physics" and "Understanding Chemistry". The chemistry one is really, really, really poor.

Has anyone figured out which ones are the best?

my school uses real world physics and chemistry live, both are reasonably good

My school uses Chemistry Live too.

I couldn't really tell you whether its any better than the one you're using already because I've never seen "Understanding Chemistry".
