are the squat racks cages or power racks?

    They're cages.

On top of it being cramped there, a lot of people make very little effort to stay out of your way, and they hardly ever put the stuff back when they've finished using it which reduces space further.

And no one ever tells them to put the sht back in its original place?

Its more a case of there being no where else to walk sometimes. It can feel very cramped during busy periods.

    Rubbery stuff. (I think)

Well surely they can wait that extra 20-30 seconds?

Good stuff, don't have to look after the floor. :D

You don't know what comes after novice? Sounds like you are a novice to me breh.

*Don't know what term you use to describe the squad above novice at Trinity. I'm not a novice, trust me...

if they're cages then deadlifting in them shouldn't be a problem? the cage does a good job of keeping people from getting too close to you

You're the judo soc guy right? Just wondering, what weight are you at and how does that affect your mobility? I've been staying at around 140lbs at a very low bodyfat for agility but I wanna go up in weight now to about 170. just wondering how that would affect me if I took up judo this year

If you want to be mobile, train mobility.

170lbs is about 77kg, which would put you about half way between the 73 and 81. If that was your weight you'd either have to face people who are bigger than you in competition, or you'd have to cut 4 kilos.

Yeah the 73kg weight class should be ok for me, don't wanna go as heavy as 81, I'll have to see how easy it is for me to keep up a weightlifting routine along with the judo schedule. Looking forward to joining up!

One more question btw, it says on your site you guys do german jujutsu as well. To what extent would that be? Like is there much striking involved? (seems to have muay thai kind of elements in it)

The website needs to be updated. I'm not sure how much longer the guy who coaches German JJ is going to be around.
