In what context is the pacman smiley appropriate?

    I tend to use this at the end of a heavy and obvious bit of sarcasm, but it's just recently dawned on me that I've never actually known whether this is the appropriate context for it or not.

    When do you see a :pac: and regard it as a sensible addition to a sentence?

    I'd be more likely to have a problem with the :rolleyes: smiley because it comes across as patronising. I'd use :pac: if I'm saying something silly

    I think the site admins need to upgrade the vbulletin smiley pack. The same 13 cnuts since I joined...Well the :pac: similey is only around the past 4 years or so (open to correction on that one).
