Can 60 year old pine and deal floorboards be burned in a multi fuel stove.

Or would they cause a tar build up in the stove and flue liner??

I have about 20 pieces of old floorboard left over, but dont know whether to use them in the stove or just chuck them out.

    Thanks.:)

I'd say burn them, they are going to be totally dry with no moisture / sap in them.

Otherwise cut them into small little bits and use them as kindling sticks for starting the fire with, that way you will only be burning a little at a time

I don't see a problem:D Don't look to be painted/treated with wood preserver so burn them. Making them into kindling sounds a great idea:)
