    i just got a text message saying..
    "Congratulations! You have won a romantic weekend away in paris for two. To claim your prize, just txt your penis size to this number."

    anyone wanna ridicule him/her with texts???
    Use free texts or something from ivenus.com or Vodafone/O2!
    Can i post the number??

    On another note, Ive been recieving unsolicited txts, but from a genuine Dublin based travel company, you have won a 400 Eur travel voucher redeemable at bla bla, call 1550xxxxx etc.

    Is this even legal? :)

    think they can get done for it some company in the usa were closed after the court case because they had done that to 50% of nyc's mobiles

    ye there was a txt going aroung a while ago it went somthing like this

    Call Esat or Vodafone and ask how much the number costs to call, it could be €1.50 a min to call, so check first...

    and also if you reply they will know the number is in use.

    Sedning unsoliceited commerical texts/letters/emails is illegal in Ireland.

    We have a specific "opt-in" policy - ring the operator of whoever sent you the text and they will get a severe rap on the knuckles / account closed.

    I have heard that if you get junk texts from vodafone, O2 or whoever just reply with the word "STOP" and they should stop. I think STOP is the only word the Computer recognises or something?

    I really hate getting txts from Ringtone Comapanies.

    I think it's legal because most peoples numbers are in the mobile phone book...
