Clicking noise when radiator heats up

I think the rad may have been hung on the wall without the plastic grommets put on the brackets, has anyone any experience of this happening to them...cheers dave

Yes, sounds like expansion and contraction, plastic spacers probably missing, only real solution is to put them in, forget any Talcum powder suggesions. :rolleyes:
