    Shíts. Going. Down.

    Excellent episode!

Aw ya!!!!! The look on Hank's face!!!!! That's was brilliant, what an episode. They did it, they made Walt seem redeemable, and then just took it all away again! what an ending. I can't wait a year, I can't, where's the Cryogenics clinic?

Edit: I could never understand the need for people to read while taking a shít, is it not something you want to get out of the way as quick as possible, in and out like? Trust Hank to be one of those people that spend an hour in the bog and need entertainment.

The episode was kind of slow but that end made up for it.

    YES!

They really are the masters of the montage scenes, 2 absolute crackers in this episode that could stand beside the likes of blow easily. The cinematography again was top notch. That over head scene of the fog tents going up was brilliant, there probably isn't a house in ABQ they haven't cooked in!!

That was great, gonna be torture to wait another year!

So much yellow in that last poolside scene, Marie is losing her touch :)

Thought it was an okay episode. Didn't quite get the blood pumping as much as "Dead Freight", or have the emotional kick of the departure of a fond character that gilded "Say My Name".

What the hell was Walt doing turning up to a restaurant meeting with Lydia dressed as full Heisenberg? The pair of them must rank as the worst clandestine duo in cinematic history.

Several Walt soliloquays regarding inane crap in this episode. Reminded me of when he pointed out the mustard on the doctors lapel in the first episode.

Great ending though. Though I had hoped Hank would find out through his own detective work rather than through Walt's shoddy choice of bathroom literature.

I really hope that storage locker shows up in the series storage wars.

Really thought that with the wide shots of them by the pool that something violent was going to happen, like Todd's uncles show up and start shooting or something like that, Hank going to the bathroom with only 1 minute left on the timer just made it obvious he was going to find out.

Fúck you Vince Gilligan for making us wait another year!

For all the Todds, Gus Frings, Mikes, Tucos and skinny Petes... what's been building up since episode 1 is finally coming to a head, Walt vs Hank!!

Part 2 should be in January, a year wait is ridiculous. Feels like it just started.

Also, when did Gale give Walt that book? Was it shown?

I would mind rewatching that episode they referenced. Eitherway

Hank versus Walt for the final eight episodes is going to be awesome. Bring it on!

    Feck you Heisenberg,

You can lie to the missus, you can lie to your baldy student, but you can't lie to the baldy Poirot. The man who will make you wish you had more shampoo bottles to read.

I liked the way that in the scene where Skyler comes to visit, Holly had been 'purpled'!

Blargh, I don't wanna wait another year. Those montages are pretty entertaining. Roll on season 6 season 5 part 2.

That was a nice little touch.

    Aww man, I can't wait now.......this wait is just too much, IT'S TOO MUCH! ;_;

Hank v Walter is going to be a good finale - which now means I have to re-watch the scene with Walt in the diner to get new clues.

    Nine months... [sigh]

    Loved it.

Making me wait 9 months is simply unforgivable.

It depends how Hank handles his revelation. He has no proof just suspicion so if he confronts Walt with that - RIP Hank.
Or he'll play along, maybe even move from home brew beer into home brew meth.
The fact that Jesse had a gun and was fully prepared to kill Walt might be more of a reveal to how this ends. Jesse won't rest easy until the coward Walter White is dead.
Excellent way to end the first half of the last season of the best show I've ever seen (apart from Cheers).

Yeah, I was expecting a load of shooters or a bomb to go off :p

I thought it was more Jessie was expecting Walt to try and kill him and tie up another lose end. If anything, now Jessie realises that while he was thinking the worst about Walt and getting ready to shoot him (again!), Walt was instead dropping off bags full of money and trying to mend bridges.

Was wondering even up to the last minute if there was going to be a gamechanger. The episode just seemed to keen to establish a status quo. Shouldn't have doubted them ;)

Brilliantly directed episode too. The montages are obviously the highlight, and there was a lot of extremely clever jumpcutting in the second one particularly. But there was a sense of... unease throughout the rest of the episode too. Felt extremely moody.

Anyone have a total death toll for Walter? :D

One directly...Mike. Walter lets other people do the dirty work. He has killed people long distance with poison.

Krazy 8? The Mexican dealers that Jesse was after for using kids? Anyone else?

He killed two of Gus' drug dealers (hit one with car, shot the other) before Jesse could do it, and killed two more when rescuing Jesse from the meth lab before they torched it. Then there's Krazy-8 and his cousin in the first few episodes (though they were more self-defense). Gus, Hector and Tyrus can probably be attributed to Walt too even though Hector actually set off the bomb.
