Parking in Cork City

Hey people I'm heading down to Cork tomorrow starting a course in the Mardyke and haven't a clue where to put the car. Between the cost of petrol and the toll I dont want 2 spend an arm and a leg on parking. Can anyone advise me?

There are a few car parks along the river..paul street q park...or grand parade q car park...they are bout 12e for day rate....cheapest option would be black ash park n ride e5 for the day....but city is free parkin on sundays.... besta luck wit course
