He may have a point there. Mayo haven't won an All-Ireland since 1952 I believe, and i can't see them winning one this side of the rapture

    Wrong. 1951.

Nice to see you re-regging and rejoining the thread, you enrich it to no end

I lived in Ballina, about the only thing enriched down there is the caravan on the side of the road

You say that as it's something to be proud of. Well I guess if you're a Mayo man, with the poor educational system and inbreeding it would. :D

    1/10

Some originality would be nice. Or maybe it has been (in)bred out of you?

I know, it's like cringing at the kid telling rubbish jokes at the class talent show, then he starts trying to win back the class by telling jokes about how he sh1t his pants one time

I have relations in Bally C....Ewe might know her....Meanwhile back in On Topic land... I hear Alan Brogan is definitely back for Sunday.

Sounded somewhat 'emotional' but he regrets being in the wilderness for them few years back in the early 00s.

I think they were at some event up in Dublin earlier.. I heard him earlier talking to RTE and he seemed a lot sharper. I remember watching those 7s up at Kilmacud on the telly one day just to see him..

Was it a groin injury? He's hardly fully fit? Still his presence alone will be enough to give Dublin a lift.

Yep, it's the third game and seven weeks since he left and now is the time for a split in the camp.

Could it be..... Andy Moran

    Wish it was. :(

I'd say it's just tactical. Try to keep the dubs guessin' I presume.

Can you imagine if they were trolling the whole time and he was fit! And the Mort thing was all staged. And Mac was also brought back to make up the full forward line :D :P

Sure while your at it why not the return of the great Seán Flanagan ;-)

Well best of luck Sunday lads really feeling the occasion now seems like forever since the quarters, normally a three week gap between quarter & semis maybe that's it.

As a Dub I hope we can repay you's for '06 (the memory still gives me appendicitis)
but may the best team win and we're all treated to a great game of football.

Conspiracy Theories section that way! >>>>>>>>>

But no would ya stop! You can't be going around planting seeds of hope in our minds only to have us dissappointed when they aren't named. :(

In the meantime, I could watch this video for hours on end and still never get bored!! :D

And Willie Joe Padden had lied about his age, having only been 7 in that All-Ireland final of 1989 :pac:

I'm actually having visions of all the Dubs peering down from Hill 16 to see if the Mayo team are going to warm up in front of them again, when all the time Andy Moran is standing behind them dressed in a cape :D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,656 ✭✭✭cgpg5

I'm sure it would be rude for Mayo not to go down to the hill again :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 361 ✭✭Caiseoipe19

I read somewhere that since that game that each team is officially designated an end to warm up at and if it's true, the likelihood of the GAA not designating the Hill 16 end to the Dubs would be slim to say the least!

Yep some members of the panel find his twitter lovey-dovey conversations with his gf open, frank and endearing whereas some other renegades prefer his facebook page. A horrible division to emerge in such an important week
