If you did not renew your membership last year then you go back to the bottom of the queue. You need to renew it each year and then you gradually go up the list. Its only when you get into the top 1000 or so you can upgrade you cannot upgrade any other way

Cheers. Ya I know that. I've had continuous membership for about 6 or 7 years. Just didn't get to any game last season

    Schalke, Olympiacos and Montpellier.

Not the worst. No major travelling bar Olympiacos.

Got a nice champions league draw anyway, shouldn't be any problems topping the group

To be fair Schalke looked pretty good last year in the Bundesliga so i wouldn't put it past them to surprise us.

We should have the measure of every team in that group so long as there's no pricking a lá what happened the last 2 years - weakened teams v Braga/Shakhtar in 10/11 and then playing Santos [and getting him injured] in a meaningless game v Olympiacos in 11/12 meaning we had all 4 full backs out.

This is probably one of the best groups we've had in a while. I'm leaving my expectations out the window this time around as things will be interesting for once. All exciting teams that have been pretty consistent in their respective leagues and should give Arsenal a run for their money.

We should qualify this group, but these teams can't be taken lightly either. Some exciting group stage matches ahead.

Take nothing for granted, we're pros at snatching second place from the brink of winning the group.

We seem to take some of the "smaller" teams for granted in Europe. Very rarely happens when we face the top sides which is why I wouldnt have minded a slightly tougher draw.

Wouldn't like City's group to be fair!

    Home to Schalke (Oct 24)
    Away at Schalke (Nov 6)
    Home to Montpellier (Nov 21)

How hard is it to get tickets for away champions league games?

Lets hope Giroud's homecoming to Montpellier is like Podolski's at Koln :)

Apparently AFCamden is saying we are making enquiries about 3 players in the EPL and one in France, interestingly one of the 3 EPL players is Micheal Essien. I reckon the French one would be M'Vila.

M'vila and Dempsey would do fine. We'd have a great squad then.

Why Dempsey? I dont see were he would fit in our squad imo.

Essien is a crock, would be a pointless signing.

Hoping its Fellaini, M'Vila, Dempsey. Benayoun also :pac:

    Not very exciting tbh.

Fellaini I reckon would be awful the way we play, possibly the same with Dempsey.

Not sure about M'Vila - heard enough of both good and bad to make him 'meh'.

In fact, there's only about four players outside of Chelsea, City, Utd, Spurs, Pool (who all wouldn't sell to us) that I'd want at the club - Tiote(please please please), Barfa, Baines, McLean(obviously madly biased pick).

Beyond that i struggle to think of anyone that would fit in and improve us.

I think he'd slot into midfield quite comfortably. Good passer of the ball and scores plenty of goals. He might not always be a first teamer but would be a great squad player.

Still hoping for a versatile defender and a midfielder, but would be shocked if we sign a single player.

Good call on Felaini. I'll text my everton mate now about it. He'll cry. :pac:

edit: Felaini plus Coleman for a combined €20million sounds plausible.

Uuhhh I just wet myself, essien is awesome if he stays uninjured.

I do understand that but I just think or would like to think we could do better at the same time. He a decent player but not a class player think we should be aiming higher.

He used to be but hasnt been the same since his return from injury. A few years ago he'd have been an incredible signing. Now, not so much.
