The Russian window don't close till next week so he could still go
I'd say we're stuck with squillachi though and he is only 5th choice so what harm

We are the highest, but my point is Arsenal don't NEED to be.
It's easier to justify it when you live there mate, if it were me i'd have to pay for flights too.
Oh and here Jonney bring that lovely camera of yours and send me the pics of Wengers face.:D

His wages could be tagged on to potential players coming in. Absolutely waste of space the man is.

it will only cost me about £5 travel to go to the emirates or free if am man enough to cycle lol

I read somewhere this morning that the reason we haven't bought yet, is because we have to have a minimum of 8 home grown player in the squad. I don't know, because I haven't counted, but apparently we currently have 17 non home grown players in our 25 man squad. So therefor, we have to sell before we buy..

To be honest, I'd be happy if come tomorrow night we'd have sold the above 3 and brought in Dempsey and a utility defender.

you don't have to have a minimum home grown players, but the max non homegrown is 17

& they could just not name some of the non homegrown players as well, eg park, squillachi, etc. to free up places

kinda shít being limited to 1 isn't it, i know you couldn't let people buy loads but even 2 would be reasonable per member.

what way does it actually work, do you get a ticket something posted out or what?

And still pay their wages if we can't get rid, that would be crazy.

Yeah they post out your tickets in a lovely little holder.
You can print out or get them posted if the game is booked in advance.
I still have my Emirates cup tickets from 2007 & 2009.

what else could you do, terminate their contracts? cost ya even more

if wenger thinks somebody's good enough to be signed i don't think one of them clowns will stop it because there's not a place in the squad list because of them

Your card gets activated for the match you've the ticket for. You scan your card at the turnstile and, bingo, you're in!!!!!!!

Edit: And this has been answered already..........!

Anyone here got Silver card? How long do you wait for it and how much is it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,631 ✭✭✭batistuta9

that's what i used whenever i've been over - they're like a bank card - though i thought they were season tickets, got them through family

I got a Silver card and was waiting 6 years for it before that I was on the Ticket registration. When Silver first came out people applied for them not knowing the future but you can ring up the Arsenal membership and see were you are on the list. Mine is used for most matches as the supporters club use it for buying tickets. Now if I could get an away membership that would be good but that's near impossible

Might ring them up so. I'm a Red member for 6 or 7 years. But haven't been last season and will only get one game or two max this season so it might not be worth upgrading.

It looks like Keano afc was pretty bang on the button

Arsene Wenger on the possibility of doing some business before the transfer window closes on Friday.
"We are active but we don't just want to bring average players in, we want to find a special player who can give us a plus.
"We have of course enough, but you always want to improve your squad, if you find a top top top player we will do it, we're working very hard, we have the resources available."

If you did not renew your membership last year then you go back to the bottom of the queue. You need to renew it each year and then you gradually go up the list. Its only when you get into the top 1000 or so you can upgrade you cannot upgrade any other way

What's the betting that this player can't be found but will be sought during the January window?
