Yes. I often see a new post being listed beside the thread title but when I go to check the thread I cannot see the new post until at least one other person has posted after it. Seems to be the first post on a new page everytime.

Anyone know what channels the match is on later?

    It is on ESPN

Is it on ITV4 as well? Or was that just last week.

Is this according to the ITK people were talking about the other day and saying he was reliable? My mate RT'ed him earlier I think, so took it with a pinch of salt. He was very impressive in the one game I saw of Etienne last season vs Lyon and going from Ligue 1 highlights. Started this season well too.

Gem to bet on last season as well.

Two seperate tweeps posted it a few mins apart. So either they have the same source, or one is copying the other...

Same thing, thought that only happened when it reached over 10,000 posts. Also seems to be running very slow for me.

They have effectively replaced Carroll for £8m in transfer fees by bringing in Ba and Cisse, making £27m profit on the Carroll fee. I would be amazed if they would go about £15m for Carroll in this window as that is even probably more than what he is worth now.

not important but didnt Cisse cost £8-10m alone, and Ba another 6?

Just what we need....someone else who is willing to hang around and pick up wages he isn't worth.

Contracts work both ways, though. You can't blame a player for getting wages he was offered, then refusing to go to West bloody Ham. Nobody can get ratty with Andy Carroll for not fixing the Andy Carroll situation.

Only one or two people in the entire world thought he was worth 35m, and unfortunately they had the money and they put that ball and chain around his neck. Fair play to him for looking out for himself. I'd do the same.

I wonder is this some kind of psychological mind game hes playing with andy, to make him work his socks off and try and hit a bit of form. :D

Or that could be my wishful thinking , id love to see andy given a proper run tonight.

Hasnt played in any Europa League game so far and won't even be on the bench tonight. Presumably we don't want to cup tie him in the event of a sale to a Europa League team

In fairness that Monkey Sponge has only a few hundred followers.
Although in saying that another had over 40,000 followers and was a fraud

Wouldn't touch him. He didn't so much when he was with us, and has done less since he left. He's a luxury, and not a cheap one.

Oh I agree, as someone in Andy Carroll's position I would do the exact same thing, as a fan of the club though I think it's not something we need, especially if any funds from him leaving are to be reinvested.

It will be blocked in ROI on ESPN tonight (at least on Sky).

Yeah. I feel bad for the guy and I'd like to see how well he does. I don't like that West Ham deal, but anything near £20 for him would solve a problem or two and I'd stop feeling bad fairly quick.

Charlie Adam's agent has said that Stoke aren't necessarily favourites to sign him. That's the first noise he's made to suggest he is talking to clubs. That's a start...

I hope he digs his heels in and stays. He's a great guy and I'd love to see him succeed at Liverpool. He has the potential.

It was a tough year for Andy last year and, in truth, his form probably contributed to the sacking of Kenny, but I hope Andy sticks around and makes a fist of it.

Honest as the day is long defensive midfielder. Limited technically and undersized, but makes up for a decent amount of his failings through workrate and determination.

Very uncomfortable if he's one of two midfielders in a 4 - 4 - 2, ideally would be played as the sitting player in a middle three.
