    Hi guys,

Just wondering if any of you could recommend a good (safe, reliable and certified) person or company to fix or replace our electric shower - is there such thing as a Triton specialist?

It's for my Dad and as he's a pensioner I really want to find someone trustworthy and reputable so that if there's any problems we can feel confident they'll be easy to resolve

Really appreciate any help or pointers you could give me with this.

Whats the issue and what type of shower ie. Is it a t90 or a t80
There is a place in maynooth that look after triton showers but sometimes its a simple fix that any plumber or sometimes a homeowner can do themselves eg a blocked filter or blocked shower head , we might be able to help you here if you give us a bit more info on the type of shower and the problems your having.
this is the company in maynooth http://www.tritonshowers.ie/contact-triton.aspx

It's a Triton T90si. I was making a strange noise and then just stopped working mid shower. Not sure if the pump is gone or if it's blocked to be honest.

Its possibly just that the carbon bushes have worn out. If you switch off the power and then remove the 4 screws from the front panel and slip it off you will propably see lots of black powder all over the inside. This is what happens when the bushes wear out.

You could try just pushing them in to the motor and closing it up again and seeing if it works. This will give you a very short term fix but enough time to order a set of bushes on the internet and fitting them is simple.

Take a look at this video it is a simple job. http://www.showerdoc.com/shower-spares/triton/hydr-01102-sintech-motor-carbon-brushes-%28pair%29---in-brass-casing-01102
