    Are brown thomas opening their Christmas stores today? its AUGUST - people are still swimming when the weather is warm.
    Halloween hasn't come yet
    Kids are not back to school from their SUMMER holidays yet.

    This is bizarre and should be banned. (and I am a LOVER of Christmas). :mad:

    This is ridiculous. Why even bother closing the Christmas shop, sure leave it open all year round :rolleyes:

    I mean I am all for Chtistmas, but not in August! If I was really honest, would turn me off going into the store (I know its petty, but don't wanna have Christmas stores in August!)

    With respect they'd hardly open this early unless they knew they'd actually get customers. Blame the customers for buying Christmas related things this early as opposed to shops

    Christmas stuff is usually on sale in September in Australia. I wouldn't mind but Christmas is just not possible in Australia due to the heat.

    who on earth is looking for a christmas shop to open in August - its a marketing ploy, nothing else.

    Shame on them. People can hardly make ends meet, and yet BT decides to turn the pressure up. Greedy sods.

    Oh I'm not denying that but there is clowns who will no doubt buy the stuff in the coming weeks.

    A tesco near myself is bringing in its Christmas stock next week too

    Might take a look one day next week. Hope all the good stuff isn't gone by then though.

    same people whinging about said Christmas shops being open too early are the same people who come in on Christmas Eve looking for X Y & Z, and lose the head when you don't have them.
