Amazon voucher expired 24 hours. Am I screwed?

    I had a voucher which I received as a present a year ago for Amazon. Unfortunately I only remembered to use it 24 after it had expired. Does anyone know anyway it could be resent by amazon or redeemed in anyway? I hadn't noticed to the date on the voucher and to be honest feel a bit like I've just been mugged. Any advice?

    Just a tip -when I buy any of these groupon type vouchers I put reminders of expiry dates in my outlook or gmail calendar, or send a text message to myself, you can post date text messages on some networks online services.

    I would expect them to extend it ir re-issue as they are good replacing lost orders etc. It's a pity they don't send a notification a week before the voucher is due to expire if not spent (assuming they have your email address).
