    Hello all,

Question about the wife using my tax credits.

I work outside of the country and pay tax in that country. There is a double taxation agreement between Ireland and this country. My question is, can my wife use my tax credits in Ireland?

    Cheers

If you are jointly assessed your credits are used jointly with both sources of income taken into account relieved or not by double taxation treaties.

If you are seperately assessed you cannot transfer them irregardless

Really isn't a question that can be answered in one line. There are far too many variables.
